Amphitrite

The Sculpture Amphitrite is the goddess of the sea in Greek mythology. She is the wife of Poseidon. I wanted to make a sculpture in homage to the sea and water and the continual process of salt water vaporising from the heat of the sun to form clouds and then returning to earth as fresh rain water continuing the cycle as it flows back into the sea via rivers.

the curved shapes flowing into each other echoes this cyclical process.

I chose an abstract style as I felt this best conveyed the message that I was trying to express.
The work is handmade/unique and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
