Sparky III

Photography: Digital, C-type on Aluminium.

The image is a series of London night shots and is an explosion of colour to produce a shot similar to an abstract painting.
I have used a technique while photographing, applying the camera in an unconventional manner to render the image abstract, thereby making it artistic.
I hope the viewer will rejoice in the profusion of colour.
Photography was chosen as this was the best medium in which to obtain the effect I was hoping to achieve.

This piece was given the moniker Sparky as it reminds me of when lighting a match in the dark or when I am welding a sculpture fashioned from metal.
The digital photograph is a C-type metallic print mounted on aluminium with a subframe that fixes to the wall ready to hang.

Limited edition of 195, signed, numbered and dated.

Comes with certificate of authenticity.

NB Each Photograph has unique marks (scratches) on the back of the artwork in the aluminium; picked up during the manufacturing process (not visible from the front when the artwork is hung) and therefore on no-account diminishes the visual impact of the artwork. This is due to the softness of the metal. I prefer to mount on aluminium rather than diabond as it is more environmentally friendly.
